I hit a lot of really good shots. I think I missed two greens in regulation
today and distance control was great, with cuts and draws, exactly how
I wanted to hit everything.
It was a good round, I played very well. Obviously the greens are better
in the morning so you can execute the birdie chances you’ve got.
It was good. I started with a birdie but then three-putted my second hole,
the 11th, and then I kept patient, I got into a patient mood.
It was great today, a bogey-free 67, my game felt good today. There was a
little bit of a lull in the middle part but overall it was really good.

It’s a fun golf course, a lot of decisions to make off the tee. If you want
to lay yourself and make your second shots easier you can, but then you
have longer into the greens.
I’d like to climb the world rankings more this year. I’m focussed on Majors,
2011 is a long time ago so I’m playing PGA Tour for the majority of events
so I’ll see if I can get it going out there.
I’m very excited coming back to Saujana. It is one of my favourite golf courses.
I’ve played here so many times when I was young.
It is like coming back home for me. I won a couple of years ago in Kuala
Indian star Anirban Lahiri hopes the ‘feel-good’ factor will propel him to
victory at the US$3 million Maybank Championship which starts on Thursday.
Danny Willett is hoping to kick-start his 2017 European Tour season at this
week’s Maybank Championship in Malaysia.
